In the heat of the LGBT discussion in Malaysia, there was a post making rounds - essentially argued that there are so much to be done for OKU access, why must the LGBT rights be a concern? Masalah kau kecik lah setan. Much likes from a certain community in Malaysia.
Strange, isn't it? If they have had first hand experience of these inconveniences and hardships, you would had thought they would have empathy and fight for inclusivity for all who suffer from such inconveniences. Why? Because it sucks so bad to not be able to do normal things like, I don't know, get a job? But no, it's a fucking competition. Every time I see that post shared in my feed by happy grasp-y people, I raged so bad inside. Wrote this although it isn't posted:
Even if the logic for this isn't sound and is mostly a reflection of the heart of the person who wrote it, that is to be expected. There is an underlying reason that left them scrambling for reasons to say no. People of LGBT is something they are told to disagree with; they can't help it theologically.

Saya bukan berniat melekehkan kesusahan yg dihadapi golongan OKU. Memang ia sesuatu yang memerlukan tindakan/decisive action untuk memberikan mrk kebebasan gerakan yg dinikmati oleh kita yg 'take it for granted'.
